Instagram vs. Apples

Despite removing it from my homescreen and uninstalling it several times, I instinctively return to Instagram. I probably use the app the least among my peers, but I still find it addictive. Every time I open it to respond to a message I see something else that keeps me on the app for more immediate sensations.

I always regret scrolling.

When I open my fridge and see apples, I almost never want to eat one. There's something about the idea of biting into an apple—the tough skin, tartness, and texture—that is so unappealing to me.

But I never regret eating an apple.
