I'd like to grow up in a world

where learning is synonymous with growth,
and degrees do not represent one's ability

yet all see themselves a student,
humbled by their own insignificance

but striving to be significant,
to have a lasting impact on others

and knowing that mistakes are opportunities,
the faster the mistake, the faster the opportunity

just as creativity means things might not work:
a concept not to be learned; it's the default

in this world of dreams—
oh i so badly want to create.
